HCCA Membership Committee Options
Ambassador & Membership
Membership with the HCCA is a big deal, and we want it to feel that way! Our Ambassador & Membership Committee recognizes those who’ve joined, hosts our ribbon cutting events and provides mentoring opportunities aimed at helping folks make the most of available tools and opportunities.
Business Resource
There’s nothing small about running a small business. Our Business Resource Committee is all about supporting local entrepreneurs by organizing networking opportunities, educational events, workforce development offerings and even meet-ups with government officials.
Young Professionals
Young folks are Hempstead’s future, and our Young Professionals Committee helps them shine. Generally open to those age 30 and younger, this committee provides opportunities to plan and execute local events, take part in networking and educational offerings and play a major role in HCCA operations.
Festivals & Events
Hempstead loves coming together to celebrate, and our Festivals & Events Committee is dedicated to making those celebrations something great. Members take an active role in the planning and execution of town events including our Hempstead Watermelon Festival, Festival of Lights and seasonal parades.
Veterans & First Responders
The town of Hempstead is big on giving credit where credit is due. Our Veterans & First Responders Committee helps us ensure our local military personnel, medical professionals and other first responders receive representation and appreciation at local events — and all throughout the year.
