The Hempstead Commerce & Civic Association: Where Opportunity Takes Root

Established in 2021, the Hempstead Commerce & Civic Association is a group of business- and civic-minded folks who are engrained in the local community and dedicated to its success. We embrace the rich history associated with Hempstead, Texas, believe a friendly handshake is still the best way to do business, see tremendous potential in the town we call home — and take meaningful steps to bring that potential to reality.

We Focus Our Efforts in a Few Key Areas

Supporting Local Business

Hempstead’s business owners helped make our town all that it is today, and they form a foundation for future growth. The way we see it, success for our businesses is success for all.

Paving the Way for New Business

Hempstead’s proximity to Texas destination towns, easy access to transportation hubs and available incentives provide endless opportunities for companies looking to establish themselves or expand.

Encouraging Tourism

The town of Hempstead is big on community, with parades and gatherings happening all the time. We welcome folks from all over to join us in celebrating — and to see what Hempstead is all about.

Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives

Working alongside economic organizations, chamber groups, academic institutions and the like, we develop programs and opportunities that benefit all parties while fostering economic growth.
